Children & Adult Printmaking Workshops, Nicosia

The Printmaking Workshop of the Museum offers a comprehensive range of activities that cover all levels of experience, from introductory classes to advanced masterclasses and thematic workshops. It also provides educational programs for schools, families, and teachers, while operating as an open studio with access to equipment, technical support, and subscription-based services for artists and creators. In parallel, it offers printing and production services, advisory support for printmaking editions, and professional assistance for artists. The workshop develops corporate and group experiences, such as team‑building sessions and private workshops, and supports artist residencies as well as collaborations with universities, institutions, and festivals.

Open Workshops in the memory of: A. Tassos, Platanisteia

The open printmaking workshops held in Platanisteia in memory of the printmaker A. Tassos are long‑standing, free of charge community sessions created by Cypriot printmaker Hambis Tsangaris to honour his first teacher and mentor. Hosted at the Hambis School of Printmaking founded by Hambis in 1995, these workshops invite participants of all ages to explore printmaking techniques in an accessible, hands‑on environment. They typically run on selected dates from spring to early summer and offer guided creative practice using the school’s equipment and materials. Through the years of this admirable action, thousands of people, young and old  joined Hampis free of charge workshops. Many school teachers also have joined and became permanent collaborators with Hambis, offering later the knowledges they received to the students of their schools.
